Bill DeFries, CEO/Owner
Bill DeFries has led Copp Systems as the CEO/Owner since 2012. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, DeFries began his career in sales and developed a broad and deep understanding of the security systems industry. Under his leadership, Copp Systems has expanded its capabilities to provide cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions, including the new Footprint Situational Awareness Software.
As a proud American veteran, DeFries is passionate about giving to the community and was inducted into the class of 2017 Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in recognition for supporting the Dayton area community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the American Veterans Heritage Center (AVHC), Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Executive Committee and the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Foundation

Kym Broadstock, Director of Accounting and Human Resources
Kym Broadstock has been with Copp since 2013 and currently holds the position of Director of Accounting and Human Resources. Kym is a lifelong Dayton area resident, graduating from Vandalia-Butler High School then getting her Associates Degree in Information Systems Management from Miami Jacobs Business College. Prior to joining Copp, Kym served in Office Manager and Full Charge Bookkeeper roles at several other area businesses in the Marketing, Legal and Food Service Industries. Notary Public since 1997.
David Gizzo, Director of Operations
For over 20 years, David has assisted organizations with their mission-critical objectives by helping them protect employees, assets, intellectual and real property.
Working with major universities, airports, local governments and corporations, he has assisted with the translation of the operational environment of their enterprise, into clearly defined functional requirements that are integral to designing and deploying integrated systems.
