“Kettering City Schools is using a Dayton firm for a $328,000 security upgrade project.
School officials say Copp Systems Integrator is starting work on 11 schools this week, which includes the installation of electronic door access and camera systems — as well as “buzz-in” systems at each school’s main office.
Copp, a 25-employee electronics and security integration firm, was chosen for the contract and approved by the school board within the last week, said Ken Lackey, business director for the school system. Lackey expects the project to be complete by the end of September.”
